CAFFEINE AWARENESS MONTH – Know Your Caffeine!

March is Caffeine Awareness Month!  It was created to bring awareness about the effects of caffeine. If you’re like me you LOVE your cup(s) of Java in the morning, afternoon and maybe even in the late afternoon. If I drink coffee that late, it will sometimes make it hard for me to get to sleep. BUT, did you know that there are many other products we consume that also have caffeine in them? I have included a few for you here, but if you go to Sleep.org you can find more information.

his chart is provided by Sleep.org    and the National Sleep Foundation & both of these groups have some interesting articles about our sleep that you might want to check out.

400 mg. of caffeine is the amount that one should not go over in consumption during a 24 hour period. One cup of coffee has about 95 mg. So…if you drink 5 8 oz. cups that would be the max you should ingest during the day. Knowing what other products also contain caffeine is very important, especially if you have trouble sleeping at night.

At Embroidery by EdytheAnne’s shop we specialize in Coffee Mug Mats. Some are whimsical, some are faith based with scripture or inspirational messages on them. Some are seasonal and can be used as decorative pieces on your coffee table, side table or even your dining table. We don’t want to stop you from drinking your favorite Cup of Joe and especially placing it on one of our mug mats! Just want to be cognizant of our customer’s health and we want you to get a good night’s sleep so you can be alert and feeling energized to stitch out all those awesome In The Hoop Projects!
