March is Caffeine Awareness Month! It was created to bring awareness about the effects of caffeine. If you’re like me you LOVE your cup(s) of Java in the morning, afternoon and maybe even in the late afternoon. If I drink coffee that late, it will sometimes make it hard for me to get to sleep. BUT, did you know that there are many other products we consume that also have caffeine in them? I have included a few for you here, but if you go to Sleep.org you can find more information.

400 mg. of caffeine is the amount that one should not go over in consumption during a 24 hour period. One cup of coffee has about 95 mg. So…if you drink 5 8 oz. cups that would be the max you should ingest during the day. Knowing what other products also contain caffeine is very important, especially if you have trouble sleeping at night.
